How the Program Works

  • Identify Dedicated Members

Participating institutions identify dedicated members who are willing to take responsibility for security.

  • Become Licensed

Candidates receive the professional instruction necessary to become state licensed security guards

  • Train for Real-World Situations

Participants develop practical skills through structured instruction and scenario-based training.

  • Maintain Ongoing Readiness

Continued training ensures guards remain prepared, aware, and capable of responding when needed.

Security Starts From Within

Security is more than a one-time installation of cameras, locks, or hiring a guard. Effective security requires ongoing attention, preparation, planning, and dedicated individuals who understand the environment they are protecting.

2020 Security helps participating shuls build that capability from within by training members of the community to become licensed security guards and leaders in institutional security.

Ongoing Readiness

Security is not a one-time course. Through continued training, scenario-based exercises, and ongoing preparation, participants remain ready to respond when needed.
